hoe kan ik cedega gratis installeren op een kubuntu? :shy:

Als ik me niet vergis is Cedega niet gratis, tenzij je hem zelf compiled (volgens Jelle toch).
Welke bestanden heb je gedownload?

Heb je ook gezorgd voor de goede bronnenlijst zoals hij beschrijft? Deze heb je nodig zodat dit script de nodige paketten kan downloaden en installeren.

Misschien hangt er van af welke bronnenlijst je zelf had ingesteld. Ik heb een heel uitgebreide bronnenlijst en kan waarschijnlijk dit script uitvoeren zonder extra bronnen toe te voegen.

Normaal staat Cedega onder Games, maar je kunt ook handmatig aanpassen wat allemaal in je menu staat hé.

Aleen de naam van dat progje ontglipt me even.

In de Konsole/Terminal moet je het volgende intypen:
sudo kate /etc/apt/sources.list
Nu wordt het bestand sources.list geopend via het programma kate en kan je er bronnen aan toevoegen. (als het om multiverse & universe bronnen gaat, dan kan je deze activeren door het #-tekentje voor deze regels weg te doen, er staat normaal ook commentaar boven deze regels)

Doe eens sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list, dan wordt het bestandje in de terminal geopend en kan je het daarin aanpassen.

ik snap echt niet hoe je linux fanboys kan krijgen met zo'n systeem

ik probeer ubuntu nu eens, maakt dat verschil?

Ubuntu heeft een andere desktop-omgeving, Gnome.

Voordeel van die repository's is wel dat je niet zelf software op 't net moet gaan zoeken. Daar krijg je toch steeds rommel mee bijgeleverd. De software in de repository's is gecontroleerd door een groot aantal mensen zodat er nooit spyware ofzo kan worden in verwerkt.
Met
sudo kate /etc/apt/sources.list doe je het volgende: je geeft kate(text-editor) rootrechten om dat bestandje te openen en te bewerken.

Dan kan je je erin bewerken wat je wil, je kan er zelfs een volledig nieuwe bronnlijst in zetten. Als je dat gewijzigd bestand hebt opgeslagen doe je

sudo apt-get update dan gaat apt kijken welke software er beschikbaar is op de repository's
Met
sudo apt-get upgrade installeer je meteen alle updates van je OS én alle programma's zodat je niet zelf bij bv mozilla moet gaan kijken of er geen nieuwe versie van firefox is dat gaat allemaal vie de repository's.

Als je nu je pakketmanager opent (adept) krijg je een hele waslijst aan installeerbare software :)

Voor een goede sources.list kijk even hier (http://www.ubuntulinux.nl/source-o-matic) en selecteer naast de ubuntu-bronnen ook plf (voor multimedia) en als je de laatste nieuwe kde wil is die ook interessant. De rest zou ik niet nemen tenzij je echt wil gaan exprerimenteren.

O ja klik alleen packages aan met de sources ben je niets tenzij je zelf .deb-paketten wil gaan bouwen.

Hopelijk is het repository-gedoe nu een beetje duidelijker. :)

ik ben nu wel in ubuntu bezig :) kvind die makkelijker :p
dus ipv kate gebruik ik dan gedit :)
en is er een 'vervanger' voor adept aanwezig in ubuntu?
