Wie kan mij helpen? Ik probeer al enige tijd een spraakprogramma te registreren. Op mijn nieuwe pc staat vista. Op de website van de fabrikant staat het volgende:

Does Kurzweil 3000 for Windows Version 10 support the Vista operating system?
Kurzweil 3000 for Windows Version 10 will run under Vista except for a couple of exceptions that we are currently investigating. One exception is that the Read the Web feature fails with Internet Explorer 7 under the Vista operating system. As a workaround, Read the Web can be used with Mozilla Firefox. In addition, the Kurzweil 3000 Taskbar does not work with Vista and presently there is no workaround.

When installing Kurzweil 3000 for Windows Version 10 under the Vista operating system, please be aware of the following:

1. Installation - User has to be an Administrator in Vista.

2. Registration/Activation - User has to go to the Program Files folder and right-click Kurzweil 3000 icon on the desktop and select "Run as Administrator" (even if user is logged on as an Administrator, user is not really a "full" administrator (like "root" in Unix) in Vista.

Ik begrijp niet wat het Nederlandse commando is voor "run as an administrator". Ik zie deze knop nergens.
Is er wellicht iemand die begrijpt wat hiermee wordt bedoeld?

Bij Windows Xp, doet u dus een rechtermuisklik op het icoontje van het desbetreffende programma, en in het snelkeuzemenu kiest u 'Uitvoeren als...'. In het nieuwe venster kan u nu 'administrator' aanklikken, als u ingelogd bent als administrator natuurlijk. Ik weet niet in hoeverre dit verandert is in Vista. Succes!
