Resolution
To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
Close the software if it is still open.
Run ScanDisk (for win98/Me systems) or ChkDsk (For 2000/XP). Both can be executed by going to Start >Run... and then typing:
For Windows 98 or Me: scandisk /all
For Windows 2000 or XP: chkdsk C: /f /r
Chkdsk may ask you to restart your computer in order to examine your drive.
Note: You must scan each drive letter (e.g. C:, D
separately in 2000 or XP.
Completely un-install our software from your computer. This is normally done from Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add Remove Programs.
Restart your computer.
Download and run Regclean from here. Let it fix the errors it finds.
Restart Windows and reinstall our software. It should now work properly.
