Ik beschouw me nu niet echt als een specialist van PC-poorten, maar indien op een PC alle poorten altijd gesloten zijn kan er toch niets binnen of buiten, en dan kun je niet op het net en kun je geen mails ontvangen.
Ik denk dat een firewall er voor moet zorgen dat gesloten poorten ook verborgen zijn voor krakers en dat er bij het openen van een poort niets binnen komt of buiten gaat dat niet mag.

Die test lijkt mij gewoon publiciteit voor Outpost Firewall pro. Dus er niet te veel van wakker liggen.
